Product Description
Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1077 will no longer be offered by Oberon after May 1, 2025, and will be replaced by Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1047. Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1047 offers a larger door opening to accommodate larger Wi-Fi access points from virtually all AP vendors, protecting your investment for future upgrades.
The 1047 series ceiling enclosures feature locking doors which can be lifted out of the enclosure without using tools, thereby simplifying access point service and replacement. The 1047 series is installed into the suspended ceiling the same way that the 1077 series is installed. Independent hanger wires are required in both instances per code. Once installed, the 1047 looks the same as the 1077, with an identical textured white powder coat finish.
Oberon will continue to offer Retrofit Doors 1076/1077 (PNs 38-107X-) to accommodate new generation Wi-Fi access points on request. Contact Oberon for details.
Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1077 is a locking, 2 x 2 ft. suspended ceiling Wi-Tile® enclosure that mounts and secures Wi-Fi and Small Cell APs flush to the ceiling. This lightweight aluminum enclosure replaces a standard ceiling tile, and has a durable white textured powder coat to aesthetically match most ceiling tiles. The interchangeable door simplifies AP and antenna moves, adds, and changes without lifting ceiling tiles. APs from all leading vendors can be mounted in the door or inside the enclosure with the configurations with the Polycarbonate or ABS dome. UL listed for both AC line voltage and low voltage (PoE) powered equipment. Styles available for both standard flush grid and recessed grid ceilings (-T). Specify –T version for professional, aesthetic installation in recessed grid ceilings.
