What It Means to Be BABA Compliant
CPI is committed to supporting U.S. infrastructure by ensuring its products meet BABA compliance standards. The BABA Act, part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), mandates that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in federally funded infrastructure projects are produced in the United States. This is especially critical for projects funded by the BEAD (Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment) program, which provides federal funding to expand high-speed internet access. To be eligible for BEAD funding, only BABA-compliant products can be used, reinforcing the necessity for American-made materials in every project. By certifying BABA compliance, CPI enables clients to access these essential funds while supporting domestic manufacturing.
