Product Description

Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1052 will no longer be offered by Oberon after May 1, 2025, and will be replaced by Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1047. Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1047 offers a larger door opening to accommodate larger Wi-Fi access points from virtually all AP vendors, protecting your investment for future upgrades.

The 1047 series ceiling enclosures feature locking doors which can be lifted out of the enclosure without using tools, thereby simplifying access point service and replacement. The 1047 series is installed into the suspended ceiling the same way that the 1052 series is installed. Independent hanger wires are required in both instances per code. Once installed, the 1047 looks the same as the 1052, with an identical textured white powder coat finish.

Oberon will continue to offer Retrofit Doors 1052 to accommodate new generation Wi-Fi access points on request. Please contact Oberon for details.

Oberon Wi-Tile Ceiling Enclosures 1052 is a locking 2 x 2 ft. suspended ceiling Wi-Tile® enclosure designed for Wi-Fi and Small cell APs with detachable antennas. This white powder-coated steel enclosure replaces a standard ceiling tile and is UL listed for installation in the plenum space. Interchangeable doors mount leading vendors APs and antennas nearly flush to the ceiling to provide for a professional, aesthetic installation. The interchangeable doors simplify AP moves, adds, and changes without lifting ceiling tiles.
