Oberon® Wi-Tile™ Ceiling Enclosures

Economical, locking, suspended ceiling Wi-Tile enclosure mounts and secures Wi-Fi APs flush to the ceiling. This metal enclosure replaces a standard ceiling tile, and it's larger back-box is suitable for larger APs and antennas. APs are mounted in the door, or inside the enclosure in models with the ABS or frosted polycarbonate plastic dome. The interchangeable door simplifies AP and antenna moves, adds, and changes.

Secure APs and network connections within hard-lid ceilings in this recessed, locking enclosure. This enclosure features a large back-box designed for ceiling systems with supports spaced on 16-inch centers. Available with AP-specific doors or dome doors. The smooth exterior flange and dome door is well suited to healthcare environments.

Oberon® Wi-Tile™ Ceiling Enclosures 1076 provides a convenient way to recess and secure Wi-Fi and Small Cell APs from all leading vendors in a hard lid ceiling or wall. A cutout is made in the ceiling/wall and the all metal enclosure is fastened into the wall using adjustable wall bridges. The AP is mounted in the back-box or in the door (depending on enclosure style). Interchangeable retrofit doors permit vendor and technology migrations, and simplify moves, adds, and changes. Unique wall bridge simplifies installation in almost any type of hard wall/ceiling. UL listed for A.C. line powering and installation in the plenum space. This locking 2 x 2 ft. suspended ceiling Wi-Tile™ enclosure is designed for Wi-FI and Small cell APs with detachable antennas. This white powder-coated steel enclosure replaces a standard ceiling tile and is UL listed for installation in the plenum space. Interchangeable doors mount leading vendors APs and antennas nearly flush to the ceiling to provide for a professional, aesthetic installation. The interchangeable doors simplify AP moves, adds, and changes without lifting ceiling tiles.

Model 1045 is a sturdy, above-ceiling Envelop hanger bar designed to support APs from most leading vendors. When the AP must be mounted above the ceiling, the Model 1045 secures the AP in the right location just above the ceiling tile.  A support wire is included to ensure compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC®) Section 300-11, requiring an independent support. The 1045 also includes a light pipe, which can be pressed through the ceiling tile to enable observation of the APs status LED without lifting ceiling tiles.

Locking hard lid ceiling or wall mount Oberon® Wi-Tile™ enclosure is designed for Wi-Fi and small cell wireless APs and DAS remote units with integrated or detachable antennas. This aesthetic, white powder-coated steel enclosure has an 17.5 in. square bezel which fastens into the ceiling or wall and simplifies access point moves, adds, and changes. The 1051-00 model has openings in the door to mount up to seven external antennas. Other configurations permit the AP or clear polycarbonate dome (1051-CP) to mount in the door. Interchangeable retrofit doors allow current owners to upgrade to new AP or antenna solutions from different vendors by swapping doors.

Oberon® Wi-Tile™️ Ceiling Enclosure Model 1064 is no longer being manufactured. Please note that Model 1064 supports only older model Cisco APs and should not be used for new installations. If you need a replacement Model 1064, please contact Oberon for existing inventory.

This locking, suspended ceiling tile-like Wi-Tile™ mount is designed to provide a convenient and aesthetic way to secure APs in the ceiling. The 1068 features a unique, patented locking mechanism which uses a receiver plate to accept APs from Cisco, Aruba, and other vendors.
