Product Description
The locking Model 1074 series suspended ceiling Wi-Tile™ enclosure mounts and secures Small Cell radio units (RUs), Wi-Fi APs, and general purpose telecom gear, into suspended ceilings. The enclosure replaces a standard 2 x 2 ft. ceiling tile and must be supported by the ceiling structure. This series includes a general use model with a convenient swing down panel which permits easy access to RUs, and allows the APs to be mounted at the desired depth within the enclosure for optimum wireless coverage. Available with either a general use ABS plastic dome door to mount RUs inside the enclosure, an RU-specific door with a cutout to expose the antenna surface of the RU slightly below the ceiling or a solid metal door for mounting antennas on the door surface.

- Design: General purpose telecommunications, ceiling-mounted, consolidation enclosure, shall be a locking, 2 x 2 ft. (610 x 610 mm) ceiling tile enclosure designed to accommodate Small Cell Radio Units or Wi-Fi Access Points. Suitable for non-plenum rated equipment
- Performance: UL-Listed and designed to satisfy National Electric Code (NEC) paragraphs 300-22 and 300-23 for installation in the air handling space. OSHPD approved
- Swing down mounting panel for mounting radio units and access points in (-SCDOME) and (-ANTMNT) models
- Fully hinged locking door, keyed alike. Contact Oberon customer service for uniquely keyed enclosures
- Model (-SCDOME) has a vented UL 94-5VA ABS Plastic dome, which is virtually transparent to wireless signals
- Model 1074-SC-06-ANT has a vented metal door with openings for multiple external antennas
- Includes four 1 in. trade size firestop grommets for cable egress openings
- Construction: White, 10 ga. powder-coated aluminum back-box and flange, white, 10 ga. powder-coated aluminum door.
- Enclosure shall be supported by the building ceiling structural system, not tile grid work
- Maximum weight inside enclosure is 25 lbs.
