Overview
Oberon’s Netpoint 3036 Series Wireless Bollard is ideal for extending wireless and Wi-Fi coverage into open public spaces such as parks, outdoor malls, bus stops, campuses, courtyards, transportation hubs, walkways, lobbies, entertainment venues, and entrance ways, where mounting on buildings of light poles is not possible. This rugged locking fiberglass bollard is designed to protect and conceal wireless equipment, antennas, PoE injectors and connectivity components. The fiberglass construction minimizes wireless signal loss. Large enough for most outdoor rated wireless access points, omni-directional antennas and directional antennas, small network switches and other wireless network devices.

NOTE: 6 GHz Access Points (e.g. Wi-Fi 6E) may only operate outdoors in the United States in the Standard Power mode (requiring AFC coordination). Low Power Indoor (LPI) Access Points are restricted to indoor only operation.
