BOGOTA, Colombia, 16 April 2014 – Chatsworth Products (CPI) will present its energy-efficient and cost-effective thermal management products and solutions at the 2014 BICSI CALA District Andino Conference and Exhibition, 14 – 15 May at El Cuba in Bogota, Colombia.
CPI will be presenting its GlobalFrame Gen 2 Cabinet Systems. The second generation of GlobalFrame is available in a wide variety of sizes, features smarter airflow management and supports CPI’s Passive Cooling technology, which has been proven to reduce energy costs by up to 40 percent. The cabinet will be displayed in Glacier White, which is highly reflective, helps brighten narrow equipment rows, provides better visibility and reduces energy costs.
CPI’s new Electronic Lock Kit (ELS) will be installed on the cabinet for customers to test. ELS enhances security over standard mechanical and combination locks. They eliminate the need for keys, as each lock can be programmed with multiple access codes and supports three levels of administrative rights to allow access-only rights to different staff members.
Additionally, Victor Bañuelos, CPI’s Technical Manager for Latin America, will give insight into why Passive Cooling is one of the most cost-efficient ways to design up to 30kW per rack in high-density data centers. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Bañuelos has become an expert in Passive Cooling and Thermal Management. He is an electrical engineer from Tecnológico de Monterrey (1997) and a CDCDP from CNET.
