CPI’s new GlobalFrame Cabinet System is an easy-to-use, cost effective, computer and network equipment storage cabinet that complies with data center, computer room and premise network equipment room requirements. GlobalFrame supports front-to-rear or front-to-top airflow, with a wide range of thermal, power and cable management accessories. The GlobalFrame is available in 30 popular frame sizes, several of which are stocked for quick shipment. The GlobalFrame is unique compared to other standard cabinet solutions and offers innovative thermal management without extensive customization. The Vertical Exhaust Duct configuration supports front-to-top airflow, isolating hot exhaust air as it exits the cabinet using CPI Passive Cooling®. This isolation creates a more uniform room air temperature, eliminates hot spots, allows higher temperature set points, increases chilled water temperatures and enables more hours of economizer cooling. The GlobalFrame is also available in a standard configuration with perforated metal front and rear doors which support front-to-rear airflow in a traditional hot aisle/cold aisle or enclosed aisle application.
GlobalFrame options include easy-to-remove split side panels which can be ordered with the cabinet or as an accessory. The GlobalFrame also features top panels with large cable knockouts for easy cabling and installation. Additionally, for faster equipment deployment, select the optional shock pallet, which allows the cabinet to be shipped with up to 2,000 lb (907.2 kg) of equipment pre installed.
